Lowe’s of Ticonderoga  

   

C.T. Male is currently working with Lowe’s Home Centers, Inc. (Lowe’s) on a proposed Home Improvement Store in the Town of Ticonderoga, Essex County, New York. The proposed project site is located within the Adirondack Park Agency (APA). The project has included surveying, environmental services, geotechnical services, and site design and layout engineering.

An ALTA/ACSM land title boundary and topographic survey was prepared for the approximately 27-acre project site in accordance with the Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys.

Environmental services included preparing a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment in accordance with ASTM E-1527-00 Environmental Site Assessment Standard Guidelines and preparing a Full Environmental Assessment Form (EAF) in accordance with State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR) regulations. Additionally, C.T. Male coordinated a Phase I Archeological survey which was conducted by an archeological sub-consultant.

Geotechnical services provided for the project included a subsurface investigation program and preparation of a Geotechnical Report.

Site design and engineering services have included preparing Site Plan Drawings together with a utility plan, grading plan, landscaping plan, lighting plan, erosion and sedimentation control plan and construction details. An Engineer’s Sitework Cost Estimate was also prepared for the project.

C.T. Male prepared a Stormwater Management Report with related map(s) and documentation and a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) in accordance with the NYSDEC Phase II Stormwater Regulations.

Engineering plans and application materials were submitted to the Town for review and presentations were made at planning board meetings. The APA decision makers, after careful review, approved the new signage.
