Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade, Village of Lake George, NY 

C.T. Male was engaged to provide the report, design, bidding and construction phase services for upgrading the Village of Lake George wastewater treatment facilities. This was part of Phase I of Warren County Lake George Basin improvement project, funded by a special EPA grant. WWTP upgrade includes replacement of mechanical equipment in the east and west clarigesters; cleaning, repairing and coating of structural concrete; cleaning and painting the superstructure, structural steel and walkway in the east and west clarigesters; replacement of the drive unit for the east clarigester; installation of a new secondary settling tank with cover; replacement of chains and flights in both existing rectangular secondary settling tanks; new sludge well with piping and telescoping valve; filter recirculation pumps, suction line and 6” discharge force main; chemical tank enclosure building; and demolition. Electrical work includes providing power and control wiring to all new facilities, and furnishing and installing switch gear, alarms and controls.
