Senior Planner
Our Environmental Services Division has a career opportunity for a Senior Planner. The Senior Planner will be responsible for identifying sources of funding for infrastructure improvement and development projects for municipal governments and private corporations, prepare grant and other funding applications, and interface with clients regarding administration and collection of grant monies. Must be a self starter with ability to successfully cultivate present and future planning opportunities. Experience in preparing comprehensive land use plans, local waterfront revitalization plans, and zoning code language is required. Knowledge of SEQRA and NEPA procedural requirements is required. Ability to make presentations to municipal boards and represent municipal boards in a public forum is a must.
B.S. degree (Master's preferred) in Land Planning plus a minimum of 7 years experience. AICP certification required.
Information Technology
Network Administrator
Our Information Technology group has an opening for a Network Administrator to manage our network to provide computer support for all technical and production functions of the company. Will be responsible for providing maintenance and support for the e-mail system, plotters, printers and technical equipment. Implements and maintains computer security systems, sets up hardware and software, updates computer libraries and specification systems, developes inventory lists, stockpiles and documentation, trains staff, and other duties as assigned by the Director of IT. Must be a self starter and good communicator.
B.S. degree in Computer Science plus a minimum of 5 years experience required. CNA certification desirable. Experience or course work in AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
