GARY MALE ELECTED PRESIDENT OF C.T. MALE ASSOCIATES, P.C.

LATHAM, NY (December 2009) – C.T. Male Associates, P.C. is pleased to announce that Gary Male, P.E. has been elected President by the Board of Directors.    Mr. Male joined the firm in 1969 as a Design Engineer.  He is the immediate past Chairman of the Board and a Managing Engineer in the Civil Engineering Group.  In his new job he will be responsible for Business Development, Human Resources and Public Relations. 

Mr. Male stated, “I am excited at the prospect of working with the Officers, Shareholders and the entire staff to tackle new challenges while nurturing existing relationships and opportunities to the mutual benefit of our clients and ourselves.  As we head into our 100^th year, I am honored to have a leadership role in shaping our culture into our next century.” As Grandson of the firm’s founder, Charles T. Male, Mr. Male has served predominately municipal clients while taking on increasing responsibility within the firm and managing the company’s more complex projects.  Mr. Male has been active in the Water Environment Federation, American Public Works Association  - Capital District Branch  and the American Water Works Association where he served as a Trustee and Section Chairman.  Mr. Male has also been an active volunteer firefighter, Fire Commissioner and is a past member of the Schenectady County Fire Advisory Board.  

Having been involved predominately in project work, Mr. Male will be serving as Project Principal on existing projects while transitioning into his new role.  Mr. Male received his Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from Union College and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in New York State.
