Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc.
C.T. Male Associates, P.C. has provided professional survey and drafting support services as a subcontractor for Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. for many years.
In 2005, we surveyed nine (9) electric and/or gas substation sites and conducted construction stake out on Transmission line 11/14 (Port Jervis – Middletown). In 2006, we surveyed six (6) electric and/or gas substation sites and conducted boundary and topographic surveys of four (4) large tracts for acquisition and design of proposed electric substations and prepared record surveys of a portion of transmission line 75 (Orangetown). Transmission line 311 (Tuxedo) and did a construction stakeout on Transmission line 60 (Suffern).
C.T. Male has also surveyed the existing gas metering and regulation station on Buena Vista Road in the Town of Clarkstown for improvements.
Currently we C.T. Male is preparing boundary and topographic surveys in Northern New Jersey, Northeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New York for the design and construction of several new electric substations being planned to meet the growing energy demand of this region. C.T. Male regularly prepares record surveys of new constructed transmission lines using conventional and laser scanning technologies. All field wok is now being tied to State Plane Coordinates and NAVD 88 as to facilitate the use of GIS information when necessary.
