NEPA - Selected Project Experience

Red Hook Sewer and Wastewater Expansion Project, Red Hook, New York.  Prepared a Draft Environmental Report in compliance with NEPA for submission to the US Department of Agriculture, Department of Rural Development including an Environmental Site Assessment Transaction Screen Questionnaire. 

Poestenkill Water District, Poestenkill, New York.  Prepared a Draft Environmental Report in compliance with NEPA for submission to the US Department of Agriculture, Department of Rural Development including an Environmental Site Assessment Transaction Screen Questionnaire. 

Albany International Airport Authority, Albany, New York - Runway 28 Obstruction Removal Project.  Worked cooperatively with the Albany Airport and the Town of Colonie to develop NEPA and SEQR compliance strategies that would result in the removal of two elevated water storage tanks within the safety zone of an existing runway, and the replacement of the water tanks’ hydraulic function at an alternative site.  This work included developing public participation strategies with potentially effected residents both at the existing and proposed tank site.   

Crown Atlantic, Company LLC, NEPA/FCC Screening, Town of New Scotland, Albany County, New York.  Conducted National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Federal Communication Commission (FCC) screening for the acquisition of an existing cell tower site and an adjacent vacant site.   

Luther Forest Technology Campus; Saratoga Economic Development Corporation; Towns of Malta and Stillwater NY.  Project Manager and chief scientist for a site characterization study that compared semiconductor manufacturing industry requirements to an undeveloped 1,350 acre site, and comprehensive generic environmental impact statement (EIS) and mitigation compliance strategy for the planned development of the project site, including off-site infrastructure requirements (water, sewer, natural gas, electric transmission).
