Dam Engineering Safety & Inspections
For nearly 40 years, C.T. Male has been performing dam engineering services relating to New York State dams and water supply reservoirs. This work began in the late 1970’s by assisting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in their inventory and assessment of over 600 dams located in New York and neighboring New England states. Over the past three decades, our work has evolved from performing Phase I Dam Safety Inspections to developing detailed plans and specifications for the rehabilitation of existing dams and the construction of new ones. For some projects, Emergency Action Plans have been prepared, developed Inspection and Maintenance Plans and have prepared plans and specifications for the rehabilitation of existing dams and the construction of new ones.
