Male) has hired Rosaura Andújar-McNeil as a Project Environmental Engineer in the Environmental Services division. Ms. Andújar-McNeil will be working out of C.T. Upcoming Update to NYSDEC Multi-Sector General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated With Industrial Activity GP-0-17-004

NYSDEC is in the process of issuing an updated SPDES Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Industrial Activity (GP-0-17-004), which is expected to be effective as of October 1, 2017.  The permit is available online at http://www.dec.ny.gov/chemical/41392.html, and is in the process of being finalized.  This permit will replace MSGP GP-0-12-001. Drone Surveying: C.T. Male Conducts Topographic and Utility Surveys with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)

C.T. Male conducted topographic and utility surveys of road and parking areas surrounding buildings 54 and 77 at the Binghamton Psychiatric Facility.  The purpose of this work was to determine which areas of the existing parking lot need to be milled and filled and to determine where the parking lot could be expanded.  The survey included topography, spot elevations and information on visible utilities. The NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code Has Been Amended – What Does That Mean To You?

On July 13, 2017, the Code Council adopted rules that amend the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code (the “Uniform Code”) and the State Energy Conservation Construction Code (the “Energy Code”).
