STORMWATER MSGP PERMIT UPDATE

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) has finalized the SPDES Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Industrial Activity (GP-0-17-004), which became effective on March 1, 2018.  Permit GP-0-17-004 replaces the previous permit GP-0-12-001. Facilities must have a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) that meets the requirements of this new permit.  If a facility already has a SWPPP, it will need to be reviewed and updated as necessary, to comply…
