SUNY Geneseo  Electrical Infrastructure Study

C.T. Male Associates is currently providing Engineering and Survey Services to the State University Construction Fund at the SUNY College at Geneseo.  The work is to conduct and complete an Underground Infrastructure Assessment and to provide updated survey and data collection at the campus.  The project also includes condition and capacity assessments of the following systems:

  • Electrical
  • Site Lighting
  • Communications/Signal and Data Systems
  • Potable Water
  • Fire Protection
  • Sanitary Sewer
  • Stormwater
  • Heating (Steam and Condensate lines)
  • Fuel

Electrical systems review includes; 4160 kV service from utility, to the main medium voltage switchgear, to the site distribution feeders, to the primary switches and transformers within forty of the campus buildings, existing systems condition and capacity assessment, code assessment, review and upgrade recommendations this equipment and protective devices.  Final reporting will include condition and capacity, design recommendations, cost analysis and development scenarios and alternatives.
